Professional Biography

Hira Azad is a distinguished cinematography director whose practice reflects a deep commitment to the language of visual storytelling. He is able to create images of both precision and resonance by combining technical expertise with artistic vision. His body of work spans a variety of genres, including narrative films, documentaries, advertisements and music videos.

After completing his formal education, Mr. Hira Azad underwent practical training in creative video photography under renowned cinematographer Mr. Khaled Mahmud Mithu. In this continuum, he received film cinematography training from Bipul Raihan. Later, he worked as a cinematographer for many national and multinational organizations like UN, ILO, UNDP, JICA and BBC Bangla.
